Depending upon the age and type of your particular unit, annual air conditioner cleaning by Richardson Heating and Cooling includes:
    • Inspect filters, change if needed
    • Check air flow
    • Lubricate moving parts as required
    • Wash outside unit
    • Lubricate motors
    • Check refrigerant pressures
    • Check temperature drop
    • Check wires and controls for burnt areas and loose connections
    • Check amperage draw
    • Check blower operation
    • Check to be sure condensate drain is open
    • Clean blower assembly. Check belts and pulleys if applicable. Inspect blower motor
    • Check flue for any obstructions and make sure it is solidly in place
    • Check thermostat for proper operation
    • Check and clean evaporator coil
